End of Season Checklist

Wrap up the season the right way. Celebrate the kids, thank the parents, and handle the logistics so you leave on a great note.

  • Plan an end-of-season team party or celebration
  • Order or make participation trophies, medals, or certificates for every player
  • Give a short speech at the party — highlight each player's growth

  • Collect all team uniforms and return them to the league (if required)
  • Return borrowed equipment to the league or storage facility
  • Inventory remaining equipment and note what needs replacing next year
  • Settle any outstanding team finances (snack fund, equipment purchases)
  • Let the league know if you plan to coach again next season
  • Save your practice plans and notes for reference next season
