How to Run This Drill
  1. 1
    Round 1 (5 pitches): Hit the ball to the opposite field.
  2. 2
    Round 2 (5 pitches): Hit the ball up the middle.
  3. 3
    Round 3 (5 pitches): Drive the ball — pull side, look for extra bases.
  4. 4
    Round 4 (3 pitches): Two-strike approach — shorten up, put it in play.
  5. 5
    Runners on base for last round to add baserunning work.

Coaching Tips
  • ●Giving each round a purpose stops mindless swinging.
